Sodalite & The Third Eye Chakra

The Third Eye Chakra is the location of all intuition, vision and transcendence. It is here we connect to symbols, patterns and archetypes. Through balancing the Chakras below you can begin to connect to higher energy, open up to the messages and symbols from the universe, and see your future as you want it to be. You will also be connected to your intuition.
When we come into this world we can connect the subtleties and layers beyond our vision. Over time we are taught to not trust our intuition and instincts. We begin to shut down our connection with things beyond what we can see with just our eyes. An imbalance begins to happen in the 6th Chakra, the Third Eye.
On the other hand, when we are not grounded we end up living in the mind alone. We disconnect from the body and are ruled by the mind. Living ruled by the mind also leads to many imbalances. We must exist in our bodies to have a powerful and healthy mind.
Sodalite is a powerful stone of the mind. It offers transformation, healing and calm. By calming the thoughts and guiding the mind to stillness, the Third Eye Chakra can be balanced.

Energy Healing:
Anyone can practice Reiki/Energy Healing. If you have found that you are experiencing an imbalance in the Third Eye Chakra, a simple way to begin to balance is by working with the energy already inside of you.
- Place your Sodalite between your brows
- Place both of your hands over each of your eyes in a cup shape with the base of your palms on the bone underneath your eyes
- Begin to focus your attention under the space where the sodalite is laying
- Begin to visualize light coming in from the top of your head and the base of your spine, pooling in the brow
- As you hold your awareness on this space begin to notice anything you see in your mind. Images, lights, often lightning-like bolts can be seen when balancing the Third Eye Chakra
Sodalite:
Sodalite is a stone that soothes the mind and intuition and provides mental clarity. It stimulates psychic abilities, clairvoyance and transcendence. Sodalite enhances and heightens the connection to the spiritual world, allowing you to access messages, symbols, patterns and communications beyond the physical realm.
Sodalite is believed to be able to calm panic attacks as it soothes the mind bringing the Third Eye Chakra into balance, if only momentarily.
It is also a stone of inner peace due to its powerful ability to soothe the mind and bring one back into their centre.
Calm the Mind:
Use Sodalite to calm the mind. Often anxiety shows up as a Third Eye Chakra imbalance. Michael Singer says ‘The mind can be a beautiful place and a dangerous place.’ And when you are ruled by your mind, without grounding into your lower Chakras, it leads to a Third Eye imbalance.
Sodalite is a stone of logic and intuition. The power of the Third Eye comes from the balance between these two. Using the mind as a tool, as well as being able to listen and be guided by your intuition.
When the mind is calm connection flows more easily. Use Sodalite in your meditations by asking the stone to slow the thoughts so that you may connect to energies beyond what you can see in the physical world.

Sometimes we all need a little guidance. Asking your Spirit Guides to assist you for your greatest and highest good can be powerful spiritual work. To enhance this work use Sodalite in your practice.
